Discussion about the Earth Charter and video
MY FAVORITE PRINCIPLE:
My favorite Principle in the Earth Charter is respect and care for the community of life by
-Respecting Earth and life in all its diversity.
-Caring for the community of life with understanding, compassion, and love.
-Building democratic societies that are just, participatory, sustainable, and peaceful.
-Securing Earth's bounty and beauty for present and future generations.
COMMENTS ON VIDEOS:
Those are really nice videos for me. By watching, I know that JAN ROBERTS is the founder of the Earth Charter Community Initiative. As the Earth charter talks about love and compassion, it also focus on change of attitudes, change of behavior so that everyone have to work for making away challenges to achieve a better world.
Therefore we should not waiting for support from UN, Governments,… but each one of us should seek how to achieve his/her full potentials by applying his/her attributes, such as beliefs, values, ethics, character, knowledge, and skills.
Thus, changes are needed for all world disasters and it is very crucial to raise awareness of Earth charter through spreading messages of hope for the good future.
